On our last
day in Bucharest we decided to visit the Romanian Parliament building also known
as the “Palace of the People”. It was built between 1984 and 1997.
It is the 2nd
largest building in the world – the largest being the Pentagon in Washington.
It is the 3rd largest when it comes to volume as the Kennedy Space
Centre in Florida comes in 2nd in this category. Work that out for
yourself!
